Homeowners' pick for heating and cooling across the Arkansas Ozarks and Little Red River country

Central AC Installation

We install central AC systems in homes across Arkansas, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Tennessee, replacing an outdoor condenser, indoor coil and the connections that tie them together. Most homeowners come to us when a system is old and losing ground on hot afternoons, when a compressor has failed, or when repair costs keep stacking up on the same unit. Call us and we will schedule a look at the house, measure what the space actually needs, and walk you through the options before anything gets ordered.

What a Central AC Installation Involves

A central AC installation is a day of real work, not a swap-in. We recover refrigerant from the old system, pull the condenser and indoor coil, set a new pad or level the existing one, then run new line set or flush and pressure-test what is there. Electrical is brought up to what the new equipment calls for, the condensate path is checked, and the system is evacuated and charged. We test airflow and temperature split before we leave and show you what the thermostat is doing.

What We Check and Install

Before we quote equipment, we look at the whole path the air takes. That means duct sizing and leakage, return capacity, filter location, the thermostat and wiring, breaker and disconnect sizing, and the condensate drain. On hill-country routes we also see plenty of homes pairing an older heat pump with propane or wood backup, so we confirm how the new outdoor unit and the existing heat source will share the thermostat. Undersized returns and leaky ducts sink good equipment, so we address those with the install.

How We Decide Replacement Is the Right Call

We lean toward repair when the system is holding charge, the compressor is healthy, and one part has failed. We lean toward a new central AC when the compressor is done, the coil is leaking in more than one spot, refrigerant keeps disappearing, or you have paid for air conditioning repair on the same unit two or three summers running. Age matters, but condition matters more. We will tell you plainly which side of that line your system sits on and why.

Central AC Installation — quick answers

How long does a central AC installation take?

Most single-system installs run one full day. Older homes needing duct repair, electrical work or a new indoor coil location can stretch into a second day. Travel distance on rural routes can shift start times, and we tell you the day before.

Do I have to replace the indoor coil too?

Usually yes. The outdoor condenser and indoor coil are matched to work together, and pairing new outdoor equipment with an old coil often means poor cooling and repeat air conditioner repair calls. We confirm what your setup needs on site.

Can you install central AC if my home has a propane furnace?

Yes. A central AC coil sits in the furnace cabinet and shares the same ductwork and blower. We check the furnace condition, blower capacity and thermostat wiring so both heating and cooling run off one control properly.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Tell us the symptom

Call or fill in the quote form with what the system is doing. Warm air, no air, short cycling, a smell, a breaker that keeps tripping. That detail helps us load the right parts before we roll.

  2. Step 2

    We schedule around travel

Hill-country routes take time, so we give you a realistic window instead of a guess. If you are on a long county road, we tell you that up front and keep you posted if the day shifts.

  3. Step 3

    Diagnose, then explain

We test the system, find the actual fault and walk you through what failed and what the repair involves. You decide before we start. If a part has to be ordered, we say when it lands.

Why homeowners call us

  • Older systems are normal herePlenty of homes on our routes run a heat pump from two decades back, a propane furnace and a wood stove for the cold snaps. We repair what you have rather than pushing you toward replacement on the first visit.
  • Heating and cooling bothSame crew handles air conditioning repair in summer and heating repair in winter. That means we know your system's history when the season flips, and we are not learning your ductwork from scratch in January.
  • We say what we do not knowIf a fault is intermittent, we tell you that instead of replacing parts on a hunch. Sometimes the honest answer is a monitoring period or a second visit when the weather brings the problem back.
  • Regional coverage, local paceWe cover Arkansas, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Tennessee. Travel time is part of every job we quote, so you get a window that accounts for the drive rather than a promise that falls apart.
  • All major brands, gas & electricEvery major HVAC brand, gas and electric, handled by an independent crew.
  • Straight answersNot worth fixing? We say that out loud, and often it saves you the visit fee.
